I love this song. It's so good. I posted it a long time ago, but it's worth a second time.

"No Sacrifice" by Jason Upton

To You I give my life;
Not just the parts I want to.
To You I sacrifice
these dreams that I hold on to.

Your thoughts are higher than mine;
Your words are deeper than mine;
Your love is stronger than mine;
This is no sacrifice; here's my life.

To You I give the gifts
Your love has given me.
How can I horde the treasure
that You designed for free?
(chorus)

To You I give my future
as long as it may last.
To You I give my present.
To You I give my past.
because... (chorus)

This is possibly my favorite poem. Or at least the one that I can most easily quote a certain phrase from!

Sonnet CXVI (116)
Shakespeare

Let me not to the marriage of true minds
Admit impediments. Love is not love
Which alters when it alteration finds,
Or bends with the remover to remove:
O, no! it is an ever-fixed mark,
That looks on tempests and is never shaken;
It is the star to every wandering bark,
Whose worth's unknown, althought his height be taken.
Love's not Time's fool, though rosy lips and cheeks
Within his bending sickle's compass come;
Love alters not with his brief hours and weeks,
But bears it out even to the edge of doom.
If this be error and upon me proved,
I never writ, nor no man ever loved.

I'm going to bed now. I promise!
